Make It Matter Mondays!

I am hoping that you will enjoy Make it Matter Mondays! I decided that each Monday I would like to tell you why I create the things I do. I really think that it matters what you make for the special people in your lives, and why you make them.

I love the quote…
“Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. You may think you don’t have talents, but that is false assumption, for we all have talents and gifts, everyone of us. The bounds of creativity extend far beyond the limits of a canvas or a sheet of paper and do not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Creation means bringing into existence something that did not exist before- colorful gardens, harmonious homes, family memories, flowing laughter.”   ~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf

I have been creating things since I was tiny ( that is my Mom’s exact words ). The feeling that I could make something from my heart and then share it with others…was one of the greatest feelings in the world.

So one of the latest things I made for my grand kids in Texas was these pillows and Halloween pillowcases. I made these pillows because…every time my grandson and I  are going to get together…he asked me How Many Sleeps till we get to see each other? He also loves Halloween… so I thought it would be a win, win gift! This travel pillow is perfect for little ones and great because you can make pillowcases for every season.

So remember…
“Do something you love every day, and then share it with someone you love!”

Good Night dear friends!
